Rubinski Igor Was born in Klimovichi (Belorusia) in1919. Studied at Moscow Art Institute 1936-1947. Study interrupted by World War II. In early part of his career he was active in Murmansk and late in Moscow. Rubinski began exhibiting in 1943. Important shows included All Union Art Exhibition (Moscow 1946). Igor Rubinski specialized in landscape painting, worked as a military artist, made the designs for Bolshoi Theater and murals for Moscow University. Died 2003
